We had 3 bald eagles in the area this winter. I spent hours watching them. After one day of watching for an hour, Landon said he thought the eagles liked it better when we didn't watch them.

 Last year Dallin and Ella just snowborded in lessons, so we decided to ski this year again, and they did great! This was the first day that we could all go as a family!

 Landon's first day skiing. He did great! And Ryan is a good and patient teacher - his mom just tells him to stop whining or he is going to have to go to the car!

 Ella is a good little skiier! Her 3rd year skiing.

 And Dallin is starting to ski on the side trails through the trees. He only got really stuck in powder one time!

Launching Rockets

Dallin got a rocket for Christmas. It is so much fun to launch!

I love my dads laugh. We used to go out to the desert when I was little and launch rockets.

Scary Mars cake. I don't know... no one in our family has the "cooking gene" I guess.

Dallin LOVES being a scout. For the Blue and Gold dinner the boys and dads made a cake. Our cake was horrible and falling apart!! So we made a rice crispy cake instead - much better, and I didn't feel like I was poisening everyone with all that food coloring!

This was the coldest time I've ever been! I told Ryan when we got home that I was glad that he liked to go, and that he should go, but that I didn't think that I ever wanted to go again. I didn't mean it!
